I am the Principal Investigator of FWF-ESPRIT Project Effective theories for quasi-crystalline microstructures at the Institute of Analysis and Scientific Computing of TU Wien.

My current research mainly focuses on the analysis of the effective proprieties of materials with periodic and aperiodic microstructures using techniques borrowed from the Calculus of Variations.
